Areas of Focus

Mental health is one of the most important aspects of our lives and should be recognized as a critical component of public health. Therapy can play an important role across the spectrum from prevention when we feel well to support during our most difficult moments.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and have been licensed as a psychologist for over 10 years. I specialize in working with adults across a wide range of issues and concerns, including: trauma, anxiety and stress, depression, bipolar disorders, substance use issues, relational issues, work/school issues, and ADHD. I spent many years working with young adults at university counseling centers, so I especially enjoy working with adults during this time of their lives. Building a strong, collaborative relationship with clients is the foundation of my work. I strive to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to meet their specific goals. I am committed to creating a safe space and advocating for clients from all backgrounds and identities.

I use many types of treatment approaches in my work with clients, based on client preference and needs. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and internal family systems predominantly. All my work is trauma informed.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, and biking. I also love to read and spend time with my partner, dog, and cat.
