Latest round of HIPAA training complete

Eugene Therapy is proud to announce that our entire administrative staff has completed their latest HIPAA training. HIPAA refers to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, a policy established in 1996 as a means of protecting health insurance coverage for patients who are in between jobs or in the middle of a job transition. HIPAA also reduces healthcare fraud and abuse and mandates industry-wide standards for the protection and confidential handling of protected patient health information.
