Sara Hudnall

MFT Associate

Areas of Focus

Sara is in her first year of post-graduate experience. She approaches therapy from a client-centered and strengths-based framework with the goal of creating a safe, trauma-informed, and collaborative relationship to act as a catalyst for change and growth for her clients.

She believes strongly that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and thrive and that therapy can be a helpful tool to learn more about ourselves and challenge our assumptions. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices, including positive psychology, mindfulness-based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

Sara has two years of pre-graduate experience working in residential treatment with adults experiencing substance use challenges and severe and persistent mental illness. She also completed a graduate internship working in a community-based clinic with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, primarily mood disorders and psychosis.

In her free time, Sara enjoys spoiling her Siamese cat, watching horror movies, and relaxing by crocheting or having a board game night with friends.
